Volunteer at Kinderhaus

If you have a talent, interest, or resource that you’d like to share with our program, please let us know!

thank you to our volunteers!

There are so many, many volunteers that have helped throughout the year. We could never identify them all. We are incredibly grateful for all of the helping hands that make the Kinderhaus program a possibility; current families, previous families, and community members.

We have enjoyed volunteers bringing bearded dragons, teaching us dancing, creating wooden toys, singing to us, sewing us project after project, building our willow hut, creating our outdoor classroom, mulching, providing sand, providing dirt, slushie slinging, painting our walls, etc., etc. The list goes on for miles!

Thank you, of course, to Kevin Sand who walks with us on Tuesdays and Barb Jensen on Thursdays accompanying us to the river or the playground.

Thank you to Mr. Spilde, our neighbor, who spends countless hours tending the woods next door that we play and run in. And thank you to our other neighbors who let us traverse their yards.

Finally, the many generous people of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church have and continue to do so much to provide us with a warm and nurturing space surrounded by fantastic outdoor green space within close proximity to woods, prairie, and river.
